The staff did a great job in taking care of a lot of customers. The restaurant was busy but they did a great job of keeping customers happy. I like a friendly bartender, she was great to talk with.

This was our first mystery dinner experience, so we had nothing to compare this show to. That may work in their favor, I have no idea. We knew we were in for some silly, cheesy, kind of lame jokes and fun, but because we knew that going into it we had a lot of fun with it. Sometimes you have... More

I've heard many good things about these Mystery café type events as my wife and I have been to some in the past. Having said that, we were scheduled to attend here a few weekends ago and our car broke down in Beaumont as we were headed back to Houston for this dinner. Due to "unpreventable" "unforeseen" circumstances i.e. our... More

My companies Christmas party was held at the mystery cafe. The actors/actresses worked very hard to entertain us. The food was average, and our cash bar drinks were great. I really enjoyed the show, I think it was a mixture of alcohol, fun people at our table, and some fun comedy parts of the mystery cafe. One of the actresses... More

The characters are great but the layout and presentation was hard to follow and see everything. Food was ok.

We had a great time at the Mystery Cafe last night but that was primarily due to the couples we attended with. The actors were fun but the venue wasn't very good. The food was poor at best. Also, if you want adult beverages, you have to go get them yourself at the hotel bar which was understaffed. Again, when... More

You are seated with others- lots of opportunity to meet your table mates. The clues are given in a pack with a program and pencil. Takes notes and listen carefully! Food is excellent - cash bar is available. In between acts, the dinner is served. At dessert time, you must choose who you think is the murderer. Fabulous prizes are... More

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary exploring our hometown of Houston. We booked a mystery dinner theatre. Neither one of us had ever done anything like this. We loved how the meal was brought in courses in between scenes. The salad was fantastic. The rest of the meal was in the Chili's Restaurant category....good, but nothing to... More

I am a employee of Mystery Cafe. I am not rating in order to keep it unbiased. But to those of you who complained about the acting, you seem to misunderstand. It's not meant to be a top-notch performance. As for those of you who saw killer karaoke, the singing is MEANT to suck. When have you ever heard someone... More

We had a good time at this dining/theater event. The meal was an excellent hotel banquet style dinner. It included a spinach based salad, a choice of entree and a cheesecake dessert. I enjoyed the flank steak and my friend also enjoyed the roast chicken. The show was not top-quality acting, but was a funny and enjoyable murder mystery set... More
