A cafeteria in a church? not what I expected. We ate elsewhere. I think this cafeteria should fescribe itself honestly.

Had lunch here with my church group on weekday. The shrimp etouffee I had was really good. This is cafeteria style, casual but very clean and has plenty of seating (upstairs), even has balcony seating. Price was very reasonable.
Treebeards is only open for lunch which makes it easily accessible to meet downtown in of all places the Episcopal Church Cathedral of Texas. Close by to many business located in the downtown area for a quick crowded yet quiet place for conversation.
Chicken Fried chicken was great with the gravy. Co-worker swears by the rice and beans with sausage. Great place to have a team lunch.

Excellent selection of good quality comfort foods. I had a cold shrimp salad followed by Italian cream cake that was light and tasty. Really worth the extra calories!
