The food is great and so is the service. A little on the pricy side but the steak is the best I've had in Houston.

A review in one sentence would, great steaks, great ambiance, great service ! Went in on a last minute without any reservation and was quickly shown to a table. Porterhouse steak to share was amazing, with a sides of sautéed mushroom and thick cut steak fries. Wine by the sommelier was a slight let down, was recommended a local Texan... More

Had a bone in house cured prime filet that I couldn't keep my knife on the table (not that I needed one), it was just too tasty. I know that some of the big nationwide chains think they own the steak business, but Pappas shows that, at least in Texas, there are still a lot of players in the pasture........ More

Never fails to impress! This is how steak should be done! The service was excellent even on a very busy Valentines's Day. The atmosphere was vibrant but not especially loud (my guest and I did not have to speak up to here each other).

Have been to many steakhouses in NYC, to Gibson's in Chicago, to Moshe's in Montreal. Pappas is probably the best of them all. Service was spectacular and the bone-in-ribeye and 12 oz Filet were amazing. I told waiter my son and I were intending to share the 2 dishes and without prompting he delivered 2 sizzling plates to our table... More

The food is fantastic. We all had steak which was cooked excellently. The restaurant is very well decorated and staff is very attentive. Of course, it's expensive, but well worth it for a nice night out. There is plenty of parking without using the valet. Reservations are needed.

A little on the expensive side, but delicious food and great service! Pappas family restaurants are some of the best in Houston. This restaurant has ambiance and is located in a easy to reach area of town. Highly recommend visiting!!!!!!!
