We eat at Kenny & Ziggy's every time we go through Houston, which is about 2x's a year. Matzo ball soup is one of our favorite things on the menu. K & Z is the real deal if you're looking for a true New York...More

Having visited the top delicatessens in NYC like Katz and Carnegie, Kenny and Ziggy have captured the very essence of an old-style NYC deli in Houston. The variety and selection of their menu is massive, and the serving size is equally generous. Quality and taste...More

I’ve had authentic NY Deli growing up in the NE. I tried to love K and Z but after four tries the corned beef on rye is dry and sub par. Also the food is WAY over priced. I probably won’t be back which is...More

Katz’s on Houston in NYC set the bar. Call that 5* for food even if the ball park noise and chaos don’t suit you. The food is freshly prepared, the menu is varied and the prices reasonably. Think the opposite at Kenny & Ziggy’s. Food...More

Either of the two locations will give you an authentic NY style deli. Sandwiches are not huge but the meats are the best. It's a great option for breakfast lunch or dinner. Try the matzo ball soup.

Came mid afternoon. Breakfast supposedly served all day on weekends, and the waitress had to ask the cook if he could make the mult/ grain pancakes. This place is really pricey. Over $8 for two eggs? They charge an extra $2 for a serving of...More

A winning combination of excellent New York Jewish deli with ginormous Texas-style portions and hospitality. The menu is huge and comprehensive and covers everything from New York style burgers to blintz stuffed waffles to classic ruebens. My hot brisket open-faced sandwich was heavenly : thinly...More

I can’t say more about it then fabulous! The #7 with pastrami is to die for as well as the stuffed French toast and pastrami bacon. If your in the area, stop by. Ask for Taleen, what a great waitress. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
