Family of 4 shared 3 plates of good BBQ. Meat is definitely the star of this show; brisket, ribs, and pork loin all very good.

I admit it: Franklin's brisket is a hard act to follow, so I'm trying not to judge against that. The brisket at Lum's is pretty good. If you're looking for bbq along I10, it's worth strategizing to stop here for lunch.

Yum! Yum! Thanks to our friends who come to Junction every year for tipping us off on Lums. We have always stopped at Coopers...will no more!! The price is right, generous on portions and was downright delicious!!! Mother-in-law had pulled pork, and coconut cream pie,...More

Good barbeque reasonably priced. We had the chopped beef sandwich which was stacked high and had soft fresh bread, and the brisket/sausage plate. Jalapeno sausage was delicious. Courteous staff.

Driving home from San Angelo, we decided to grab some barbecue. On our way through a few days prior, we saw a rival bbq joint across from a fuel stop. But after reading reviews we did an area search, and saw some good reviews for...More

Stopped on the way through town and loved the food! The absolute best chopped brisket I have ever had!! Only downside- they were out of a lot of food by our 8pm stop.

My fella and I just ate here for dinner. It was recommended by our guide at Sonora Caverns. Oh boy was she right about their food! We ordered brisket and ribs with a slice of lemon meringue pie and it was perfect. Not too much...More

Stopped on our way West. I got the ribs and my husband got the brisket. The ribs were tender but not very flavorful. Good sauce helped. Husband liked his brisket. Servers were friendly. We would return.

This is a truck stop type restaurant, the hours I have no idea but it was a good treat to eat at.

Located in the heart of the hill country, Lum's serves up vintage Texas smoked BBQ along with sinister sides and carefully prepared deserts. Our approach to barbecue is simple: lots of time and lots of wood. Our meat is dry rubbed with a select few spices and then slow cooked over mesquite wood. Lum's was co-founded in 1976 by father and son, Louis and Richard Lumbley. We strive to provide a comfortable and friendly dining experience executed with exquisite small town hospitality.
