We decided to try Weikel's for breakfast while we were staying in La Grange. We had the lemon and the chocolate/cream cheese kolaches. Loved them. It was so good, we came back for breakfast the next day. Had the blueberry/cream cheese kolache, and it was great too. Will definitely be back next time we pass through town.

We went at a recommendation from a local restaurant who said they're desserts were better. we hit the end of the day and pickings were slim but we grabbed a german chocolate cake and it was pretty good. the next morning we hit them early and got fresh kolaches and a poppyseed roll. they were great.

You can't go wrong with anything you buy here. Sandwiches are fresh, sausage kolaches are great all the deserts are yummy! Everything is homemade, fresh! We always stop here on our way to/from Austin and Schulenburg

Bought chocolate chip / pecan cookies recently at Weikel's Bakery in La Grange. I shared them with my teammates and got soooo many compliments on how delicious they were. I had to admit that I had nothing to do with making them and give Weilel's the credit. I will definitely go back there and get more the next time I... More

It looks like your average everyday gas station but holy mackerel what is inside is simply amazing. The kolaches are unbelievably amazing. TO DIE FOR!!!! It has been over 6 months since we had them and we still remember how amazing they were. If you are anywhere near La Grange - do yourself (but not your hips) a favor and... More

The Rice Krispie treats are the best! Especially the ones with the almonds in them. The pigs in a blanket and kolaches are awesome too. You can not go wrong with any dessert from here. They also have breakfast tacos and high end children's clothes.

I stopped in for breakfast before heading to Antique Week. I chose an apricot kolache and it was delicious. The service was fast.

I have been eating the pigs in a blanket and kolaches from here for more than 20 years. They are still so good!

Cinnamon rolls, kolaches, cookies, turn overs and more. Each one more delicious than the next. It's worth the trip to La Grange just to visit this bakery. Eat your fill and then get some to take with you.

This was my first visit to Weikel's and I can't wait to go back. The fruit kolaches are the best I've ever had. Lemon and peach are my personal favorite. Don't forget to look for the "yesterday's fresh" rack. You can save 50% and the kolaches still taste yummy!
