This local, family/-owned restaurant has great Mexican food. I've tried their enchiladas, trio salad, quesadillas, chalupa deluxe, stuffed sopapillas, nachos, and Juevos Rancheros. They are all tasty!

We had enchiladas and they were extremely bland! Queso came out cold and service was average at best. Would have been better off going to Dairy Queen or something similar. Very disappointed in the food!

I doubt that this is the second best restaurant even in a place as small as Lamesa. The food was bland and poorly presented. The refried beans looked like they were there for decoration, because you sure wouldn't be tempted to eat them. Better than stopping at McDonald's, but that's about it. I guess I expect to get a decent... More

I can tell by the condition of the establishment that this restaurant is well used and obviously loved. The lunch buffet was -meh- simple. But tasty. The sopapillas were outstanding!!! Very friendly staff and great prices. Don't look too closely into the kitchen. In Phoenix, I suspect this place would not meet Maricopa Food Inspector standards.

I was traveling through Lamesa and we stopped at Pedroza's. They had a fajita, enchilada, chalupa buffet. It was great! I only ate fajitas but I had chicken and beef and they were both very good. I also enjoyed the guacamole and the chips and salsa. If you find yourself in Lamesa I recommend Pedroza's.

I met a friend in Lamesa for dinner. We chose Pedroza's Restaurant and were well pleased. The food was excellent. The portions just right. I had enchiladas and my friend had chicken fried steak. Good choices. Ambiance conducive to conversation, and we had a lot of catching up to do.

Visiting family in West Texas and met in central location. Seated very quickly. Had 9 in our group, instead of putting 3 tables together which we open, they put us in a booth and table combined. Very crowded. Food was good as well as us having a very attentive waitress. Checking on us all the time. Very, very large serving.

Pedroza's has been a Lamesa institution for many years. They have excellent Tex-Mex dishes and desserts. Also, surprisingly, they currently make the best steak in town. Their "surf and turf" steak and shrimp dish is incredible. The ribeye is tender and flavorful and the shrimp are always so plump and fresh.

This was by far the WORST Mexican food we've had since another experience in Rome, Georgia about 4 years ago. If this is the best Lamesa has to offer, don't bother trying it, just keep on driving.
