We went here for dinner 6pm on Saturday. We were surprised they were out of brisket as well as two other meats. The jalapeno sausage was amazing. The snap and flavor! The ribs were good. The beef shoulder was dry. We tried green beans and they were bad. We didnt try any other sides as they didn't look good. The... More

Stopped here on the way home from camping. Sausage was ok. Brisket was chewy and tough. Asked for BBQ sauce. They said we don't need BBQ sauce. They do, at least that day. The building was fairly new and clean. Parking was fine. Bout the best thing I can say about the place. Wont be back.

BBQ meats were very good, both kinds of sausage(regular & jalapeño with cheese) were good, a bit greasy. Mostly everything was good. But canned beans??? This is in the heart of central Texas BBQ trail and they served canned pinto beans, the addition of onions, tomatoes and jalapeños still didn’t make it better. Because of this I rate them a... More

Since I live in Scottsdale, AZ, and can't travel to Lockhart, TX, I ordered from Kreuz Market on line. Their famous brisket arrived in great shape. I ordered 3 lbs of the moist brisket at about $16 per pound plus shipping and handling. I conducted a blind tasting at my house in Scottsdale of Snow's, Kreuz, and a local company,... More

This was my second time eating at Kreuz, and I loved the good more than the first time. The first time I went, I wasn't sure how I felt about Their "No sauce, no forks" rule but quickly understood why that rule was created the minute I took my first bite. This time around, I had ribs, BBQ and sausage... More

Kreuz Market says it's been there since 1900. If it's been BBQ the whole time, they've got it down to a science. The place is huge - pix don't do it justice. When you walk in, prepare for a wait. We stood just inside the door for a while. Line is long but they move it fast, and there is... More

After having a great experience at another Lockhart BBQ institution I decided it was time to try out Kreuz. I had seen the market on many food shows and knew I needed to check it off my BBQ list. I ordered brisket, spare ribs and a jalapeno sausage, I found it strange that I had to pay for my meats... More

Was there recently for my birthday. BBQ was good, not great. Have read reviews that noted the side was let down by the brisket, would have to agree. The cut we got was very fatty. Did ask to not have it trimmed, as my wife and I like the bark and long for burnt ends. Sausage was much better as... More

The jalapeño cheese sausage was a favorite of ours. Brisket is also delicious. The prices of meat were reasonable, but the sides seemed a bit high. This is a big place, with plenty of seating room. We would recommend it.
