I attended a brunch catered by Sugarbakers and it was amazing! Quiche and salad. Delicious. I had the plain quiche, the crust was perfect as was the custard.

Sugarbakers is a wonderful little restaurant. Their food is always delicious and fresh. They have excellent salads and wonderful sandwiches. My favorite is the cranberry chicken salad. Their deserts are homemade and off the charts delicious. They have a variety of cookies, pies, and my favorite when In season are the chocolate covered strawberries. The coconut pie is a must... The cranberry-orange spinach salad is outstanding! It includes avocado slices, slivered almonds, chunks of blue cheese and red onions and is topped with a light strawberry dressing! It was hard to resist the dessert display case... so I also picked up a generous slide of scrumptious Italian Creme Cake to go!

They have the best cinnamon rolls in town. Some mornings I crave them so I jump in the car and head for the drive through. Lunch there is always nice--a variety of salads and sandwiches. As for their coffee--they need to up their game. It is usually weak and pretty tasteless--has been that way for years.

I went there with my daughter and granddaughter and we all had good lunches. The fruit plate is huge and the fruit is so fresh!

We are all about trying new places in Lubbock and have heard wonderful things about Sugarbaker's. So, we thought we would stop by and pick up some sweets for dessert. I guess I was surprised at how little they had in the way of baked goods. Most of the shop's business seemed centered around tea room sandwiches and the like.... More

A bakery with food items. Lots of room for our party of 6. We had a shopping day in lubbock and stop by here for a quick dessert. Most in our party had the pie and cakes. So many to choose from. Everything looked homemade.what a surprise! I had the fruit bowl with the fruit dressing. And I can only... More

Nothing special here. Thought the name was intriguing but that's all. Everyone busy visiting that apparently were the "workers"! Thought there'd be some special coffees here to go with the "sweets" --- wrong again! Think twice before visiting this place. Disappointed!!!!!

Visited Lubbock for the afternoon and wanted to stop by before we left town. My son and I picked up something sweet for the road. The cake in the profile picture - A-Mazing!! And my son picked out a brownie and thumbprint cookie. Heard about this place from a friend in Dallas who is from Lubbock. If you have visited... More

Today my son graduated from Tech today and I completely forgot to order a cake for his graduation dinner! I called Sugarbakers mid week after calling several other bakeries in Lubbock and was told they could handle it! I ordered chocolate cake with white icing! Simply delicious!

Thank Terry K
