Being from the Lubbock area, we went to Josie's for dinner as soon as we hit town. This used to be some of the best Mexican food in town! We were promptly seated, but our drink order was taken by an un-interested waitress. It took a while to get our drinks and even longer to get our chile con queso... More

I’ve gotten breakfast burritos to go a few times from Mama Josie’s. This time I ordered two burritos, the Josie’s Special and a chorizo and egg burrito (which I put in the fridge for today). The service at the Drive Thru was friendly and efficient, but they could learn a thing or two from Chick-Fil-A. Both burritos came on a... More

The cheese quesadilla was good but the queso didn't have much taste at all and my ranchero burrito was so spicy I couldn't eat it.

This place (Mama Josie's in general, not just this location) used to be really good. As in, it was the go to breakfast burrito place in Lubbock in the late 1990's. I used to get a breakfast burrito on the way to Lubbock High....and they were freakin' awesome. Not anymore. I came to this location with wife and kid a... More

Food wasn't bad but it bordered on fast food. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Portions were very liberal.

Josie's started out serving burritos that were large, full and inexspensive. The last burrito I bought there was small, only half full and twice the price that it had been back when it was good. They even charge extra for hot sauce. Sorry, there are better places to go for a good quality breakfast burrito.

Not only is the food sub par & the building FILTHY, when I picked up lunch for my husband last week an employee wrote down my debit card number & proceeded to have me buy them all kinds of fun stuff. Even the employees at the corporate office don't know how to offer proper customer service as it took police... More

Great portions! Good food! This place is always busy and the wait can be long. All of their breakfast burritos are good and the barbacoa is really good...remember to ask for "all meat!" Great service and friendly people.

My friend and I wanted Mexican Breakfast during our last visit to The Hub City. Josie's was recommended and we couldn't have been happier. They serve fresh chips and salsa-no matter what time it is! I ordered Migas which were hot and fresh and came with potatoes and beans. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. Josie's isn't fancy, but... More
