Londoner, Churchill's, now The Celt. Great Staff. Always accomodating and helpful. Ownership is great, Nick is still working there, my oldest always has to visit there and get Curry & Chips. Cold Harp on tap. Local beers and a great fireplace upstairs by the bar.

Took our out of town friends in for the authentic fish and chips. Great pub atmosphere and our friends enjoyed the bangers and mash as well.

Service was very slow and mediocre, The burger was raw. Yuck! We ordered it well done and I couldn't eat it but didn't dare return it because the service was so slow.

So sorry you had a poor experience. That's not like us at all. If you could give us a call at 972.562.2929 or write to let us know what time and date you were in that would be quite helpful. Or, even let us know what band was playing, who your server was, etc. we could much easier deal with... More

I had a night to myself and decided I needed Fish and Chips with a Guinness, so I swung into The Celt, the bar staff was super friendly and they had a great band playing traditional Irish music. The band was called "Sluggers Rule". What a fun night, I made new friends, and ran into old ones too, just like... More

Looked around the Historic McKinney Square for a place to eat at a reasonable price and warm for lunch. Great lunch price. Everything $7.99. Very cold day in Texas. After a couple of places, we decided on the pub, good decision. The fish and chips were so good. Fish was perfectly prepared. Loved it. My friend had the fighting Irish... More

Sit outside, weather permitting, to people watch and listen to music playing around the square. Great location. Cold beer and better than average bar food.

Saturday afternoon, band knocking out traditional music and of course European football on all the tubes...yes soccer. Don't be a knucklehead and look for our game when the place has plenty of Europeans enjoying a few cold ones and their favorite sport. My gang all had the fish and chips that were perfect with killer chips. I on the other... More

It's no secret that I adore pub food, and this is my ideal pub spot. (I only wished I lived closer to it!) I was visiting my hometown after many years, and a friend and I realized that we had never actually eaten at The Celt before. It's seat yourself, and you have a choice of upstairs or down in... We really liked The Celt Irish Pub. We had traveled to London and Winchester this past July, and this pub made us feel as if we were back in the UK. The hardwood floors and the coziness inside made for a fun atmosphere. Up the wooden stairs was the bar and more tables to sit at. It had a fireplace,... More
