I bring all my out of town visitors here and always have great experiences. I love their breakfast food but also love the down home cooking! Cool atmosphere!

My husband and I walked around downtown McKinney looking for a reasonable place to eat. We came across "Spoons" and liked it right away. It was clean and simple. I liked that it was also quiet. We went on a Thursday, so it may be less quiet on the weekends. I had the Chicken and Waffles which were delicious. My... More

Good place to get lunch and relax for a bit. Order food and then find a table. Good tea. The people are always nice.

Spoons has great southern homecooking. Breakfast is served all day, which I love. Brunch is served on the weekends, but come early or late to avoid the line. Great sandwiches. My daughter loves the tomato soup. It's a great place to get a bite in Historic Downtown McKinney.

While walking around this adorable little town and enjoying the weather last week, (March 31, 2017), we stumbled upon this great restaurant! We can't say enough about the food, great prices, and we totally enjoyed the Chelada's and Bloody Mary's too! The portions are great, and the staff is super friendly! We'll be back for sure!

Our family visited downtown McKinney on a Friday morning and decided to have breakfast at Spoons. Our waiter has very friendly and prompt and worked to insure we had excellent service. I ordered eggs, bacon, hash browns along with coffee and juice. We also ordered a French toast and an omelet. We enjoyed our entire meal and the atmosphere inside... More

Had brunch at Spoons and awesome food. Ordered the Migas and ate every bite. A great TexMex dish. Will do it again.

My whole family loves to go to Spoons for breakfast especially! Excellent migas, pancakes are to die for and their specialty coffee options make it even more special. Just a neat place for families to sit and enjoy a great meal together. A must when visiting McKinney and it's right on the square making it really convenient! If you're really... More

So handy to our stay at the Grand Hotel. The dishes were tasty home cooking - meat loaf, chicken tetrazzini, hamburgers, etc. Be sure to order the pie!
