Not great. But not bad. What I expected. Perfectly acceptable. I tend to search out restaurants that have a redeeming feature. This failed the test but that shouldn't stop you from going. It perfectly acceptable if a bit lacking in character. If you are in town on a Monday I suspect it is the best you will find

We have eaten here a few times and always had great food. This time was equally good. There was only one waitress and she was absolutely charming and so welcoming. It was a monday night and one of only a few restaurants open. The food was excellent, great choice and very well cooked.

Monday evening, so many good restaurants in St. Omer are closed, but this one is just as good. Bistronome & Le P'tit Montmarte also very close-by if you want a Monday choice. Waitress very welcoming & friendly, comfortable surroundings & seating, very cosy. Can't understand why seemingly every restaurant in the world wants to paint itself grey, but hopefully they'll... We had a nice Sunday lunch here en route to the ferry back to the UK. The menu to Plaisir is good value for a three course meal (€20). I would go back in a heart beat. The restaurant was full by the time we left and the service was good.

We pushed the boat out a little here, we chose this restaurant by accident, and so glad we did. The French really do food and wine well, but this was a little special. Everything cooked to perfection with a special bottle of wine. The service was top drawer, with only one waitress, she worked hard and was very friendly and... More

Just off the main square and the cathedral, this well-located restaurant fills the bill if you are looking for a tasty classic French meal. Front of house was friendly & efficient, running the show with aplomb & bringing courses to the table at just the right intervals.we has the " menu de plaisir" for €20 each, accompanied by a carafe... Our last night in St Omer was the best quality meal with the cheapest tab. This is a small restaurant around the corner from the Ibis St Omer central next to dreams bar. It's a tiny little place with one waitress and some great set menus at very reasonable prices my party went for the 20 euro set menu and... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal in the pleasant ambience of Le St Charles in the centre of Saint-Omer. We had two starters, two steaks, one sweet, one cheese board, some beers and two Irish coffees for 117 Euros – about right for the quality of the food. The service was friendly and efficient, although English travellers beware:... More

It's really delicious and well worth trying, it came on a bed of pureed sweet potato. All the food there was good, the ambience great and a waiter who can translate the menu into English when asked. The set menu price is really reasonable and belies the excellent food delivered.

My first visit. Lovely atmosphere and layout. The food was first class and the service attentive. I have visited St Omer regularly over 30 years and I think this is among the top three (Cygnet and Hotel St Louis being the others)
