Be sure to book a table or be there at around 19. If you come later, there will be no tables. We tried the fondue, it was very good. The service was attentive and friendly.

Friendly staff. We (3 pax) walked in for dinner around 18:45. We didn't reserve a table so we weren't expecting to have it. But then the man was kind enough to give us one but he made us know that he'll need the table at 20:00. We were more than happy to accept it. The food was very tasty. It... More

The 23euro set menu de terroir was excellent, with a good selection of local food. The cassolet starter was similar to a tarteflette with a lively salad side. The steak and lamb steaks were cooked over a wood fire and had a real smoke flavour. The ice cream sundae was huge, the chocolate mousse rich and the cheese board varied... More

We wanted some cosy "traditional mountain food" after a hard day on the slopes. La Pastorale was completely perfect. Really cosy (a converted sheep barn I think) low curved ceilings with a small number of tables and a great fire. We went in at 19:00 and were the only ones in there - by 19:30 it was full. Our waiter... More

We had dinner here the last day of our stay in La Salle and we would have discovered it before... A small, warm, familiar place where you can find a suitable offer of menu based on local comfort food, such as “les escargots” and “la raclette” and a lot of meat's variations. Very nice and helpful the young staff.

Worth a visit if in the area. Typical Savoyarde cuisine, we had the cheese fondue, which was delicious and a good introduction for our two younger family members. A roaring log fire and every table taken, led to a good atmosphere. Service was a bit brusque.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal last week. We had the 3 course set menu for 22 euros which was excellent. The meat is cooked on the fire - lovely! Well worth a visit.

Cheese specialties that are good. Price is -average- 16 to 25 euros a plate. But the plates are Full!! Cosy atmosphere. Plus, it was not crowded when we had dinner there.

Attractive restaurant offering a simple menu, savoyarde specialities and grilled meats. Good desserts. Friendly efficient service, no nasty surprises or anything to complain about but all in all a little uninspiring.....
