Sunday roast. Well, Yorkshire pudding was more like a flat, thick pancake, veg from a can and scrag ends of beef. Not a smile about the owners face, who served us. There's a lot better out there for the same price. And beware, the beers...watered down with sprite and I have seen more alcohol in the drip tray than in the cocktails. Don't know what's happened to this place during covid but it's best to avoid, honestly.More

Had a meal & drinks in midweek which was average at best & spent over €50. The waiting staff were all nice albeit a bit scruffy tho & the owner needed a good bath. But I decided to go again as they said they were...showing my teams premier league game on Saturday lunchtime. When I arrived there were several people all hoping to watch their teams so I asked what game would be on but was told “it’s whatever game comes on” I asked again after another 10 mins but was rudely told “you have to become a customer first before you get to see your choice of match” having spoke to other holiday makers who were staying in our hotel, the owner tells everyone he will show their teams match just to get you in. Needless to say I spent my money elsewhere.More

We love Heads and Tails, they have just reopened after the Euro Football competition. They do an €8.50 3 course menu or a normal menu. The portions are the biggest we’ve experienced in Tenerife. A good choice of food and the owners are always willing...to talk to you. Well worth a visit.More

We started drinking here on first day of our Christmas holiday, the bar had been struggling with lack of tourists on island. The staff were so good they made us feel welcome and adhered to social distances. 8 of us went in most days and...sat at distanced arranged tables outside. We had Christmas dinner here as well it was enormous and beautifully cooked. We had to leave 2 weeks early because our airline made us all go home with the COVID restrictions. Our ages ranged from 15-65 and all enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff .Our friends who have an apartment stayed on and said they had passed the bar and it had closed down because there was not enough business to carry on..Not just this bar but we go to Tenerife a lot and love it , so many bars and hotels are closed. But this is to thanks Wilmar and his family thank you for your great service to us in these hard times, and I hope things pick up for you soon. Great bar, good food. I believe the bar has reopened so please pop in.More

Disclaimer I don't often leave reviews. In fact I can't recall ever leaving a negative review as I tend to take things as they come and try to see the best in things. However our appalling treatment at this sorry excuse for a 'venue' has...compelled me to do just that, well played heads & fails you've broken my duck. If this review saves just one other family from experiencing what we sat through then its totally worth my time here. We were looking for somewhere to have our Christmas dinner and thought we would give this place a try beforehand to sample the food and atmosphere etc so we went down for an evening meal tonight. Good call now. Pre-food We arrived around 7 pm, my first reaction was 'looks a bit dead in there'. I would estimate around 5 % of the tables available were occupied. This dwindled steadly during our time there. We order 2 x chicken dishes (fajitas and skewers) and a bowl of spag bol for my daughter. Given the lack of other punters around we were surprised that it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive. One of the 'waiters' even found the need to speak to us about the wait without us saying anything to him. Food Dont really know where to start here. We eat out regularly and the food served here was quite frankly some of the worst I have ever experienced. I recieved 2 x 'fajitas', both around 3" long, pre-wrapped with a filling consisting of over cooked, dry, barely edible, unseasoned chicken in what can only be described as a 'mush' type sauce that bore no resemblance whatsoever to traditional fajita sauce. There was nothing else on my plate. To tell you the truth, I am not sure if my dog would have eaten it. My partner's skewer was equally as bad. The same chicken as above covered in a shop bought jar sauce with a pile of chips. She had one bite and refused any further. Before trying our food and due to the length of time we had waited for the food my daughter was hungry so we unloaded some of the spag bol on to her toddlers tray which she started to eat. We were therefore in a position where we were forced to wait for her to finish what she had on her tray despite our situation. Staff We can accept a poor meal from time to time. These things happen right? What we can't accept is our treatment by the staff once we had made it known to them our feelings on the food. The waiter who had made the original comment on the length of time the food had taken became agitated and verbally aggressive to the point that I was confronted over the table by this individual trying to defend his 'food' in a manner that shocked me. Maybe due to the size of the chap he thinks he can intimidate people. Wrong. This individual then proceeded to huff and puff and carry on doing not a lot elsewhere in the bar. The other chap who I assume is his manager then came over and asked us if we wanted anything else which we declined. He said we needed to pay for our drinks and left us the bill. I asked him if he thought it was acceptable that a member of his staff thinks its okay to confront his paying guests in the manner he did. His reply was; 'Yeah in Spain this is normal, maybe not in England'. He then tried to tell us how many happy customers they have, wildly gesticulating to his now 2 remaining tables of embarrassed guests that had the misfortune to still be there and a singer on stage that was crooning away to a completely empty venue. Dont forget this is prime time on a Saturday night. He then proceeded to remove the half full bowl of spag bol from my daughter! After a minute or so the original guy then came back over cleaning our table. Without any provocation he proceeded to spout off again at me in an equally aggressive manner. He then shouted at us 'why are you still sat here' - we both pointed at my daughter who was still eating the food that we managed to put on her tray before it was taken from her. I know everyone has bad days but surely this isn't the way to run an establishment, especially in these hard times. You would think that all venues struggling to attract what tourists are over here despite the pandemic would be doing everything they could to make people feel as welcome as possible. We would have quite happily spent another 100 euros here on Xmas day if we had recieved even a half decent experience. Now, I would much rather put the 100 euros down the toilet. Bravo fails, keep up the great work 👏More

Very attentive staff. Great choice on menu. Food might not be quick but that's because it's freshly made to order. Had both veggie and meat lasagne. Lovely. Great portion sizes and excellent value for money.
