Had dinner at this quaint little Inn, and it was delightful. The special was a chicken and mushroom pie - excellent. Fish and chips were lightly fried and fish was flakey. Dessert was superb - lemon flan with fresh raspberries and homemade raspberry sorbet. To die for! Reservations strongly suggested.

Possibly the best fish and chips on Skye. If you wish to have sautéed potatoes rather than chips they are happy to do so. The desserts were wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Reservations are a must.

We were staying in a B&B right across the road so we walked to here for dinner three nights in a row thanks to their excellent food and especially their staff that was so welcoming to our 9 month old baby that accompanied us each night! There is always a very interesting sounding special each night and you can never... More

In French we call it bistronomie : not fancy but good, fresh, local food. It was very good from starter to dessert. All we had was local (even the beer), the prices were good considering the level of the food, the staff was extremely friendly and we just loved loved everything we were served (Scottish lamb, scallops, herb crusted hake,... Friendly comfortable restaurant. Unfortunately it was verry busy what resulted in a long wait for a table and food. We also got the impression the kitchen couldn't handle the crowd as some of the dishes were missing a few elements. The serving staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Booking is essential for this justifiably popular restaurant. Our table was ready on time as we were eating late at 19:45. Very busy as we arrived. Wide choice on the menu and if we had been holidaying for longer we would have eaten there again .. .. and again. Service was cheerful and helpful. Dishes that we chose were very... More

We went at the weekend and hadn't booked (having mis-read their website and thought they didn't take bookings), so were unable to get a table in the restaurant but were seated at the bar. The bar was nice enough, but obviously a little noisier. The restaurant space was quite separate from the bar, so definitely recommend booking if you'd prefer... More

We visited Edinbane Inn twice during our week's stay on Skye and both times were very happy with service and food. The staff were very friendly and the meals we had very tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend this place although it can get busy and involve a short wait for a table but well worth the wait in my... More

Made a special point to dine at the edinbane after hearing about the casual Gaelic folk music on offer on Sunday afternoons, big bonus. Also got to enjoy a nice meal for dinner, opted for the Scottish chicken and one of the blackboard specials. Had a nice afternoon with some great food and music, lovely.
