... salad, apparently made from instant mashed mix. The beef was good, with a sauce slightly on the sweet side, and the beans were excellent. Service was okay.

The barbecue was listed as the best in town. Well I guess they don't know how good barbecue is suspose to taste like. The meat rib, chicken, sausage didn't tastes like it was smoked or cooked on a grill more like in the oven. All the deserts looked dried out so I didn't order any. The fountain drink tasted off.... I was in Nacogdoches for business and was asked it there was anything I wanted while in Texas. "My own oil rig and some Texas barbecue!" A U turn later and we're pulling in to Mikes. I had brisket and sausage with beans and slaw. I wanted to try one of the pimento cheese stuffed jalapenos but didn't want to... More

We wanted something different from the regular Dickies BBQ (Which was right down the street) so we stopped in to give Mikes a try. The ribs were so tender and good, they pulled right off the bone and my husband loved their chicken. The rice was good at first bite but after that it was so salty that I couldnt... More

There was no fire here and not a car in the lot. My 17 year old daughter said YOLO and we convinced my reluctant husband to stay. Good thing we did, it was excellent. Told the guys right up front we were from another county. They gave us the low down on the menu and sent us with some awesome... More

Best BBQ in town. The brisket has that nice burnt edge but still real juicy. Ribs are finger licking good. They know locals by their name so it always feels good going there. They also have the BEST fried catfish in town - be sure to ask for them to make it extra crunchy.

Not a great looking place that seats were dirty and broken. But we noticed mostly take out. The ribs were a dry rub fell off the bone good. But the BBQ sauce was like colored water. Not great

I have been eating Texas bbq for over 50 yrs in many cities... This so called bbq house is absolutely the WORST I have ever eaten. Run by a bunch of clueless teenagers who know NOTHING ABOUT BAR B QUE how to smoke it, prepare it, serve it, or simply cut it. I went to the restroom to wash up... More

I had the BBQ beef and my friend had BBQ pork. Both were great. The coleslaw was good and the potato salad too. The baked beans were great. The chili was great, but a little greasy. I would recommend this place to others. Simple but good and the staff were helpful.
