Very nice ,building repurpose ,old post office. Staff is friendly and attentive. Lunch menu with a mix and match section. Lot of choices, the Cajun seafood enchiladas were excellent.

The restaurant is located in the old post office building. The menu is interesting although the Cajun dishes were not as seasoned as truly good Cajun food in other places. The service was excellent.

Just awesome! I know it is a seafood place, but their chicken fried ribeye is beyond belief. My kids love the shrimp and grits. My husband says the seafood gumbo is the best he has ever had. Definitely make reservations on open table before going because it is a small place and seating goes fast.

Great Brunch menu. So far most consistent place visited in New Braunfels. I was impressed with the bloody mary menu. The brunch menu is very broad and covers very good options. I had the french baguette eggs benedict They very good and a good portion size for light brunch dish. Very good environment. Will be back.

I, my wife, and a couple of friends had a late lunch there today. Very nice, "business casual" atmosphere. Our waiter was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the place ( a converted Post Office built in 1915), and the menu. I had a "pick 3" from the lunch menu and selected seafood gumbo, red beans & rice, and a Cajun... More

I eat here frequently with business associates, family and/or friends. Never had a bad meal here. Cajun Enchiladas are my fave. I'm a seafood gumbo snob, so I always get a cup at any seafood restaurant to "prejudge" the entire menu. It's good! Menu is fairly wide and deep.

You might not think of a restaurant in a landlocked town like New Braunfels to have great seafood, but McAdoo's does. Been there two or three times and the food has been excellent each time. And it's not just the seafood that's good, though the buffalo oyster appetizer and the fried softshell crab from my last visit were both excellent!... More

This place use to be the old new braunfels post office from 1915 which has been converted to a upscale Cajun-style seafood restraunt. The dining experience is great for business or pleasure. They have excellent fish tacos and Cajun enchiladas Topped with shrimp, crawfish, tomatoes, and avocado in a Cajun cream sauce. Makes your mouth water.

Wife and I both had the grilled red fish with broccoli and red beans. Delicious as usual. Great service and atmosphere. Recommended.

We went with a large group, the Bride and I. The ambiance and service of the night was very nice, well within the expectations of one of NB's finest restaurants. However, our food was a disappointment. We had the Mahi Mahi Boudreaux and the Mahi Mahi New Orleans. Both filets of fish were dry on the very top, and the... More
