Really good Mexican food! Lots of variety too. We've only done carry out and we love the tacos, sopes, and burritos. Also their brands are delicious.

So I stopped in for a breakfast taco while my car was in the shop just up the road. New Braunfels has lots and lots of little mom and pop tex-mex places and most are pretty comparable. Palm Cafe, El Nopalito, Cancun, Marina's, Tapatio, all do a pretty good job and you'll get your money's worth. One way I try... More

Ordered the fajitas - they had so much gristle, what didn't get stuck in my teeth ended up back on my plate. Meat had no flavor - tasted like maybe a little lime (not even sure about that). The salsa and the rice were ok. My husband said even the beans were tasteless. After reading some of the other reviews... More

Authentic Mexican drink and food but served here in New Braunfels, Texas. Horchata (Rice Milk) cool and refreshing with cinnamon....enchilades green or red....cheese, beef or chicken all good, without driving south for hours and days to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

A very nice place for breakfast. It was reasonably priced, excellent food, great service, good coffee, and a nice atmosphere. What else could a person ask for in a breakfast. It is basically Mexican cosine but a lot of American dishes are also available. i am going back next week. It will be on my list of regular places to... More

Run by Mexicans doing their version of Tex Mex. Home made tortillas, garlicky Mexican rice. Basically this is what fuels Texas beyond bar-b-que, and hamburgers. If you are looking for the real cultural experience of Tex Mex then this is a good representation. Not perfect, the salsa is uneven - sometimes great with big chunks of cilantro and onion and... I have stated elsewhere that my benchmark for any new (to me, new) Mexican restaurant I try is to get a sample of one barbacoa, one chicharonnes and one al pastor taco. Barbacoa is pretty much the same everywhere, (unless it's dryer than the Sahara...) and this place has fairly good stuff. The key, for me is how the al... More

The salsa here is wonderful. I had Enchiladas Verde which were very good and my wife had the nachos and they were very good also. Definitely worth stopping for and will return just for the salsa!

My husband and I were looking for a good Taqueria for breakfast and stumbled upon Taqueria Guadalajara. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros which was so awesome! It was served with corn tortillas, beans, and a really good salsa. My husband had Machado (eggs, sausage, other stuff mixed together) and he really liked his too. Everything was fresh and cooked to... More
