The ribs are to die for! The brisket is excellent! What you don't want to miss are the pinto beans! Yes, I said pinto beans! I don't know what they season them with but they are delicious! Sometimes I just go for the pinto beans! Ha! Ha! You really need to try Poor Daddy's Smokehouse!

I have seen this place for a while & finally tried it (I'm very picky with bbq) & it was really good. I just had the sliced brisket sandwich & it was one of the best I have had, moist juicy, great sauce. I was so good I got my last bite before I realized I forgot to ask for... More

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch after visiting someone on the hospital that is very close to this restaurant. They offer daily specials as well as managers special. We chose the managers. I had the sliced brisket while my daughter had a pulled pork sandwich both fries and sweet ice tea. They offer a number of other side... More

My boss walked through office and his lunch smelled so good that I had to go try it for myself. I had a chopped brisket sandwich, mac and cheese and the pinto beans. It is sooo good. The brisket is just right and the BBQ sauce yummy, but the mac and cheese is the best that I have ever had... More

This is what Texas BBQ is about. Not a show place at all from the outside. In fact most would probably just slowly drive by and continue onward. Inside... it is walk up to the counter, select and order up your BBQ meal. Selections include meat plates with two sides fro 10.99 -12.99, sandwiches from 5.99-7.99 or meat by the... More

All our friends told us we HAD to try Texas BBQ. Wow!!! This place doesn't look like much but the food makes up for the lackluster appearance. Huge servings! So you get your money's worth! We had the 2 meat meal...I ordered pulled pork, and ribs with corn and potato salad; my husband had ribs and ham with Mac n... More

The restaurant we were headed to was closed for the day so we wound up here. Second (and last) time we've been here. I had a sliced brisket sandwich which was loaded with fat (gross!) and just not at all enjoyable. The two boys working were more interested in getting back to the table where they'd been sitting so they... More

Let me tell you this restaurant is typical Texas bar-b-gue. Smoked in the traditional oak, hickory, mesquite wood cookers. They cook their meats slow and it just falls off the bones, be it ribs or chicken. I would recommend the half chicken and half rib platter. Comes with two sides. The sides are few but awesome. I had mac n... More

Slow service and overpriced. Worker complained the whole time that it was his day off and was smiling only because he had too. We finally left because he would not shut up.
