My wife and several of our friends love this place to death! I am not a fish lover, but have tried the Mahi-Mahi and the Chicken here both were good.

A comfortable, easy going place with a good variety of fish and related items. While many things are fried there is a good selection of fish available grilled plus boiled shrimp. Grilled trout was as good as any I've paid 3X for. Service was upbeat.

Arrived Friday evening at 5:45, just ahead of the evening crowd. I had grilled salmon; spouse had crab cakes. Service was very quick and well prepared. With drinks, prices begin to approach expensive, given the atmosphere. Noise was not an issue; portions were filling; quick turn around on tables even when crowed. Will return with friends!

So many wonderful choices on the menu board! makes your mouth water just reading all of the fish plates! Go through the line, order and find your seat in this casual vibe Downtown Plano find and eat until your hearts content. Fresh catfish to die for, fries, baskets, you name it and they have it.

Very reasonably priced fresh fish that is served quickly. There is often a line of people waiting to order. In addition to seafood the restaurant also serves beer and wine. My favorite is broiled sea scallops served of a bed or rice with fresh vegetables. There are typically eight or more large scallops and the dish is very tasty. At... More

The Fish Shack is located in a former Long John Silver's, but don't let that scare you. This place is a rare find and a locals favorite. This hidden gem is operated by Greeks who know how to cook. I ate there twice during a recent visit to Plano. The first time I had a dozen fresh oysters on the... More

This is one of the best places in the area for fried catfish and shrimp. Be sure and try their onion rings. They are light and not too much breading. Nice people that work here. Personally I like my fish, shrimp and onion rings a little crisper so if your like me you have to ask them to make everything... More

We like this place as the prices are reasonable and it's not a fancy place. Just good food that tastes good. Oysters are very good and not over cooked and actually tastes like oysters should. ( for those of you NOT going YUCK right now)!! Catfish is cooked right but could stand some more seasoning. Good variety of choices and... More

You know how you go to the coast and eat fresh seafood and it tastes great? This is just like that but you only have to travel to east Plano or Richardson. First trip here go for the fried shrimp or the Shrimp and catfish combo. Second trip eat the half pound of crab. Later you should try the grilled... More
