This was reco by fishing guide and we were more than pleased. Had lunch and dinner here, great grilled & fried items. Casual, order at door ( they will prepare your fresh catch also) Best value for $ too!

That's about it, nothing special. We brought in the fish that my daughter was proud to catch but not so excited to eat and it cost just as much as their fish plates. (it was clean and ready to cook) Drinks were not good and they had no house cocktails to choose from. They didn't get my sons food and... More

I heard about Kody's from some folks who had been in the area before. I like the style of the place, you order at the bar when you come in and they drop it off. Grab any table you want. Had a good kids menu and good selection of items for them, fried shrimp and fish, chicken tenders and grilled... More

Cute and casual place but as soon as you enter you have to order which causes a bottleneck at the front door. I ordered fried shrimp and my husband ordered fried shrimp and fish. The shrimp was very "fishy." It was awful. The French fries weren't hot and the margarita was terrible. My husband's fish wasn't fresh but fried from... More

I have to say I never tasted garlic fish before and I was sure surprised how delicious it was at Kody's. We went twice we enjoyed it so much. The first time we went they were packed and service was spotty. A few days later we went back and it was great! The kids had chicken tenders and they enjoyed... More

This restaurant is near the hotel where we stayed & was recommended to us. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and quantity of the servings. Our waitress was extremely helpful!

Last month we went to Kody's on a Wednesday night for an all you can eat shrimp dinner. Fried shrimp is one of my favorite restaurant choices. Kody's shrimp was the best I have ever eaten in my 73 years. I would definitely recommend their fried shrimp plate. The all you can eat special is not offered March through August.

Had lunch at Kody's yesterday after going to Stingray's taphouse and finding it closed (yet again). Even though the Stingray's sign said "Open" it wasn't. So, we went to Kody's and ordered a burger and fries with a cold beer. Best burger i've had in a long while. Would highly recommend it.

When we arrived in Port Aransas this was one of the places we were told about as a popular watering hole. We went there for lunch. It was fairly busy as we arrived a little after 1:00. My husband had the fish special and I had a burger. The food was good. The service was okay but not great. They... More
