Went there with some Gal-Pals in early May. We were seated on the Patio, which was nice--but overlooked the crowded Yacht Club which seemed so private we couldn't go down the stairs. We'd been told "you've gotta go there!" but it seemed overrated and overpriced in our humble opinion (and we all travel a lot so should know). Probably won't... More

We have been dining at Trout Street for at least 20 years. We do love their boiled shrimp, fried shrimp and grilled fresh catch of the day. You can not beat their seafood at any other restaurant on the island. We have gone through all the wait staff issues over the years and the lack of customer service during the... More

Great food, service and atmosphere. We had the fresh fish sandwich, best we ever had. Hilary, our server was very pleasant 🤗and fast. Food came out hot. We just found our favorite seafood place in Port A.

We regularly dine here when staying at Port Aransas. I am a huge fan of their cracker crumb fried shrimp, and unlike so many seafood restaurants, they actually deliver on the jumbo size shrimp. The dish is consistently of high quality. The lady really enjoyed her cajun crab cake on a bowl of gumbo. We really enjoyed the setting and... More

We've been going to Port Aransas for decades and always have a meal here. It is a lovely setting with nice outdoor seating. Last night I ordered one of the "fresh catch" selections, grilled black drum. It was so overcooked it was practically paste. I am certain it had been grilled, then zapped in the microwave. The side dishes were... More

Food was really good, maybe a little on the pricey side. Sat outside by a marina and enjoyed the view. Wait staff was good.

We went to the restaurant for early dinner, about 6pm on a Friday. We had a group of 7, and were immediately seated outside on their awesome patio. Everyone was impressed with their meal and our server was great. I got the fried fish and shrimp plate. This fried meal was some of the best I have ever had. Big... More

Trout Street was clean and had nice restrooms. The service was good and the back patio faces the marina. The flavor of the food was fair and could be more flavorful. It was a bit more expensive (lunch for two with beer but no appetizers ~$ 60.00). It's a good place to go to be with friends. The staff is... More

We stopped in here with friends just for drinks and also got an appetizer. Drinks were reasonably priced for the area. We ordered the artichoke and spinach dip and it was delicious served with tortilla chips. We sat outside with a great view of the boats and the marina. They have an excellent menu for lunch or dinner. Would definitely... More
