We stopped for breakfast and had lunch. Staff was excellent friendly and sweet. The sandwich wasn't that great, the bread should have baked longer, so the sandwich was soggy and gross, but the cake was excellent and topped the crapy sandwich.

Let me state right up front.... service was great. Food was horrible. My wife's scrambled eggs were grossly over cooked. My banana-caramel waffle was dry and hard. Got maybe two table spoons are caramel. It was not enough to cover even half the waffle. This place needs serious work in the back. Certainly not worth the $25 tab for brunch.

We were driving home from Austin and this was a nice place to have breakfast. We enjoyed the crepes and the eggs benedict and all the other basic breakfast dishes were available. They were certainly okay but my husband's Bloody Mary was wonderful.

My parents brought me here for breakfast, and while it was good, there were two huge standouts: 1. The amazing service. Our server/waitress was great. Loved her. 2. Coffee that was SO off-the-chain amazing that THEY should have a line around the block every morning, NOT the split-tailed green mermaid in the circle. However, I digress... The breakfast menu was... There is corned beef has then there Mimi's Corned Beef Brisket Hash. I had the Mimi's Corned Beef Brisket Hash with sunny side eggs and roasted small potatoes. I had the toasted sourdough bread to mop up my plate....I didn't care if anyone watching. Manners aside, I was in another world. My family has to disturb me to break the... More

The service has been hit and miss, but I like their eggs Benedict for breakfast/brunch and they have some good salads for lunch/dinner. The Happy hour is pretty good, they have a fair selection of appetizers to choose from. It's not authentic New Orleans faire, nor is it fancy, but everything I've tried was tasty.
