We enjoyed our Sunday lunch featuring dozen oysters with kick bootay horseradish and red sauce for $15.99. The fresh spring roll is 2 per serving with option to add shrimp for a mere $4.99 total. It is so big, I brought one home for lunch the next day. It is served with a good peanut sauce. My husband really enjoyed... More

My husband and I have been going here for years. The seafood is the best we have ever had. I recommend the gumbo and salt and pepper shrimp. Delicious! Casual and fun atmosphere.

Very good for a casual seafood restaurant. Oysters were great, gumbo pretty good, atmosphere a little weird. La Frontera Oyster plate is awesome, as is the squeeze bottle of mystery sauce on the table.

Excellent food, small atmosphere, fun staff, good variety. Green Mussels were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended

For shellfish lovers, this is definitely a destination. Impressive selection of FRESH oysters, mussels, and often crayfish. As well as meat dishes. Some served up fish house style, some with a creative Thai flair. All delicious. We shared a half dozen oysters on the half shell (fresh, cold and delicious), followed by a crayfish boil (included crayfish, corn and sausage).... More

This place is amazing! The variety of food from raw oysters to baked oysters to flavorful food with an Asian flair is always consistent. The Crying Tiger salad with sticky rice is my favorite and the Tom Yum soup is yummy!

Co-workers had been raving about this place so I decided to try it and wasn't disappointing. This was one of the best seafood meals I've had in Austin. This time, I had a lunch special which was under $10, came with some of the best Gumbo I ever had and some amazing hush puppies. Now I know why lunch gets... More

With all of the great BBQ and Tex-Mex in central TX, there is usually one lacking ingredient, and that's seafood. However, Deckhand Oyster Bar fills that void with a friendly, casual, reasonably priced seafood restaurant. I can't say enough about the Deckhand Oysters (broiled oysters on the half shell brushed with a white wine infused garlic butter, then topped with... More

My daughter and I tried Deckhand for the first time last week even though we have both lived in Round Rock for many years. We had always decided not to go because it had a huge Oyster Bar sign on the side and neither one of us like oysters. Silly, I guess, since they surely had other seafood. I saw... More

Stopped here one day out of curiosity and were delighted. The Cajun food is well seasoned and the portions are large (had to take half home). Fresh oysters, great gumbo, etoufee (sp?) and lots of appetizers for the kids. Place packs out at all hours and all items available to go.
