Only place that delivers to the high school nearby so figured I'd try it out and the portion sizes are huge and it's good food they don't have steamed or fried dumplings and the wonton soup isn't that great but the egg drop soup makes up for it.. Good service both over the phone and in person

Have been visiting here for over 20 years. Always great and lots of it. Friendly service and more. We loved this place and have brought guests here from out of town. However, over the last year we have been disappointed three times, most recently, last night. As had happened sporadically, the meat was fatty and had to be sent back... More

My family and I went here for dinner and ordered crab rangoons, sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, beef and scallops and orange chicken. The sesame chicken was soggy and almost tasted as though it wasn't cooked enough, the orange chicken and General Tso's chicken were overcooked and tough. The sauces on the orange chicken and sesame chicken were so similar... More

Solo diner, seated promptly and offered a beer & time to select. Chinese is not always the best when you're on your own as you would often prefer several smaller dishes for variety. Sadly, couldn't find anything that matched that description on this menu. Opted for 10 won-ton for starter, big mistake, they are nothing like won-tons that we get... More

My favorites are Happy Family, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, and Hot & Sour Soup. All great values. Close to my house and I usually do take out. Great service.

Waited a little longer, and as other ignored guests were leaving we finally got approached. Staff were completely unconcerned...we told them never mind and went to Pok e joes I'll never go... More

You know there is something wrong when it takes longer for your hot tea to come out then your food. Don't get me wrong, the food was tasty however you can tell it was premade and just reheated. Will we go back, i dont know. You get your money's worth but and portions were big. However, i think i would... More

We stopped at Hunan Lion on a road trip with children. It was helpful that the restaurant was right off of I35. The food and service was a pleasant surprise and nice rest from a long drive. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. They had some of the best wonton soup I have had in a... More

We went to Hunan Lion after a long absence, and were blown away by the food, service and value. We ordered Chinese beer, eggroles and sweet and sour soup and corn soup to start. Wonderful! Then entrees of Chicken Fried Rice, Hunan Style Beef Special and Shrimp with snow peas. What arrived at our table could have fed 6 easily,... More

... this was an excellent restaurant. I don't know what happened, but literally overnight the place went bad. Both the food and the service suck.
