Daily specials and they always serve plentiful portions. Food is good and service is always pleasant. The atmosphere is lively. Prices are good and they also have some pretty tasty desserts.

Friendly staff and owners always come out and visit and make sure things are going good. Family Steak house in business for over 50 years. Portions are large and price is very resonable

I love this place! The food is outstanding and the portions are fantastic. I've been to many places throughout the state of Texas, and Zentners daughter is one of the best! Try any steak dish, or a hamburger, you will be pleased.

Old decor and bland food. I don't know how this place stays open with so many other options... Service was slow and it wasn't busy. Will not eat here again.

Returning to Zentner's Daughter Steak House was not a disappointment. The Chicken Fried steaks and T-Bones are huge. The onion rings are the best ever tasted without a doubt. The salad bar was messy and needed attention, otherwise the rating would have been 5.

We ate here on 3/12/17. The lunch special was good and reasonably priced -- $13.95, but you get a lot of food (a choice of two meats and a dessert). The sirloin still had the fat on it, but when you cut it off, it is still a good portion of meat. The salad bar was very good and with... More

Wow! If you want a great (and I mean really great) steak, then this is the place in San Angelo. It is an old world style, meat & potatoes, (and veggies) steakhouse. The service is awesome on top of the fact the steaks are simply heavenly! The prices aren't cheap but you really get what you pay for here. You... More

Had the ribeye and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. My only criticism would be that it was a touch salty. It was juicy, flavorful, and what you expect from Texas beef. If you haven't been, you need to try it. The place is huge and the decor is not what I expected based on the location. It had... More

We were in town for the stock show and had to try Zentner's Daughter Steak House. I have heard so many people talk about it, I had to try it. I had the 8oz filet medium rare. Steak was cooked just right and had a good season to it. They give you plenty of food. The two boys split the... More

What can I say, it is great steak. I have not tried anything else there. I love good seasoned cooked to order steak and you get it here. Yes, I order a salad and fries or baked potato and sometimes onion rings, but those are only eaten if I have room, HA!
