They have a large selection of sandwiches to choose from and so far I have enjoyed each of my selections. You have to get past the unusual way they get you through, going through one line to order and another line to pay.

This fabulous place is much different for lunch and dinner. The menus are totally different. Lunch: it is primarily a sandwich and salad place. However, their sandwiches are amazing. Dinner: In ate here with friends and sampled a majority of items on the menu. The steak was out of this world.

I have eaten the dinner here before but I am a regular during the lunch hour. The sandwiches aren't cheap, buy you absolutely get what you pay for. Quality ingredients in large portions. The sammies are to die for. My fave in The Ladder, although I have tried nearly everything else on the lunch and never been disappointed. You are... More

My wife and I travelled to Austin by way of San Angelo for an anniversary extended weekend. Having enjoyed a dinner last year at Peasant Village, we knew that we would dine there for our anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly at a great table by the fireplace. The interesting and varied menu was presented on a chalkboard - more... More

Always good food and great selection. Host and waiters are always very personable and attentive. Small old home makes for a nice small and comfortable dinning.

Ok! I've been there 3 times in the past week. It's that good! I started with the New Jersey Grinder, a perfect blend of meats and vegetables. The flavors were competing with each other making me savor the experience, the bread was extra ordinarily crisp - perfect. I then returned for the Ruben sandwich, it was perfect, like it came... Plenty of meat on the sandwiches for a good price. We had new jersey grinder and the royale. Both we very good. Quick from time of order to time of sandwich. For people who have never been, grab a menu off of the bar, then go down the hall to order.
