Big Vern's was just a short walk from our hotel - a real plus after driving more than 500 miles that day. We both ordered the filet mignon, the only steaks on the menu suitable for our limited appetites. The steaks were excellent quality and...More

The meal was good but over priced. I think is the only place that is open in the evening. Looks to have a good bar business.

When we stopped by on a Friday afternoon. The ladies across the street said the hours have varied lately. :( they did direct us a mile across the road to the Mesquite Canyon Steak house it was really good.

Don't look for ambiance at this restaurant, but enjoy the juiciest mouth watering steak you will ever have - even above some "premium" steakhouses. Easy access Just off route 40 and on route 66 . Pleasant and friendly staff.
