We stopped in here after fishing with a few fish for Dirty Al's to fry up. They blackened them and we ate as an appetizer. It was absolutely delicious. My kids and I had a couple different things and in the end it was just...More

I was a little hesitant about eating lunch at a place that sells bait, but as soon as we pulled up the parking lot became full. They have daily cheap specials on food as well as drinks. Our food was delicious and our waitress was...More

The entree was not prepared as requested. Grilled Sea bass was ordered, what arrived on their plate was a greasy fillet that was not broiled. The basket I had was grilled, lightly seasoned fish strips...really light on the seasoning. They seemed to be gluten free...More

My husband and I went here for dinner the first night we were there. We went back after we went fishing to have our own fish cooked. The food was decent portions. And if you have your own fish cooked up they are amazing portions....More

We love to go to this place for our fix of shrimp and fish. We get it grilled (less calories and tastes better), and it comes served on a plate instead of a basket when it is deep fried. It is not an elegant place...More

Over battered, overcooked, but it will make a turd. Never go again. Calamari was tough, shrimp over cooked. Salad was wilted and only ranch dressing.

We were referred to this place by 3 different groups. So glad we went. The food was perfectly fried! The shrimp and fish basket was great! Our group stuck to the fried fish and shrimp, can't comment on the peel and eat shrimp, although everyone...More

About Us
Dirty Al’s has been in operation since 1986 and has always provided the freshest seafood to thousands of visitors from all over the world.
As a family owned and operated business, we have always taken great pride in taking care of each customer and providing them with a unique experience that they can only get from eating at Dirty Al’s. Dirty Al promises every customer that they will only be served the absolute freshest seafood caught in the wild off the Gulf of Mexico.
A Father and his Sons Make a Great Team!
Alfonso Salazar, better known as “Dirty Al” originally started shrimping as a young man with his father and 6 brothers. In 2003, he and his youngest son, Cameron, who graduated from Culinary School, transformed his bait stand into a restaurant where together they have been known for having “The World’s Best Fried Shrimp”! In 2005, his other two sons returned home to help grow the business. To this day, they now own 6 restaurants on beautiful South Padre Island and continue to bring only the “best” Gulf Seafood to each customer’s table.
