Went to see Chris Knight and Kevin Galloway (Uncle Lucius). Wonderful venue. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the place. 8 or 10 feet from artist. The nostalgia that they have collected is great to wonder around and look. We didn't eat, so I can't speak for food, but portions looked OK and it smelled good. We... More

Very unique and outstanding music venue. Great acoustics and sound control. Problem is the stated price is very vague upfront, the "deposit" is really just another charge listed at $50 but comes out more on your bill. Then there is a very high meal price and drinks are as to be expected. One couple, one night, one concert was $400.00.... More

Sat so close to the band (upstairs) we could count the horsehairs on the fiddlers' bows. Great sound, incredible show. That said, it was expensive and a bit of an extravagance for us. Food was good, but no bread or rolls to go with the meal for some reason. Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed at times

First time at this place. Went to have dinner and see Restless Heart. I was actually impressed with the venue. Food was great and the wait staff was excellent. The acoustics are phenomenal. Price is a little high to go all the time, but was good for dinner and a concert. I will be checking the up coming acts and... More

This is a small venue for concerts and a fabulous offering. We've lived in Houston many times and were only introduced to Dosey Doe's Barn last year... October marked 10 years for their business. We've driven many times from the West side of Houston to enjoy evening concerts. With the Grand Parkway, you won't even feel the pain of Houston... More

First the good 1. Value for money is spot on 2. Acoustics are phenomenal 3. Staff is outstanding Now the bad At the beginning of the opening act an announcement was made that we needed to watch our conversation volume because of the acoustics. A group of women down the table showed zero respect and continued to talk and laugh... More

Saw Glen Phillips here three nights ago. Nice intimate hall. Good acoustics. It is a big barn with long rows of tables and chairs oriented perpendicularly to the stage. Tables up front are right up against the stage so views are awesome. Decor is Old West / Americana. Clean bathrooms. Beer is expensive but table service during a show is... More

We attended a jazz piano concert here, which you wouldn't expect would be held in a "barn". Long tables extending out from the stage, and a second floor offer great viewing and sound. We were literally a few feet from the band. Complimentary meal and service were very good, drinks a little small and pricey, but overall a great experience.... More

We read an article in the newspaper about how musicians call the Dosey Doe "song church" and decided to get tickets. We saw Herman's Hermits and had a blast! Dinner was fine, there was a salad, a choice of 4 entrees and 2 desserts, plus coffee and tea. Alcoholic beverages are extra. The acoustics were great! It was easy to... More

We were celebrating a 50th birthday and decided to come here because of our hotel was nearby. Whoo Hoo! What great entertainment and feel good food we received at the barn. Inside was every imaginable western memorabilia you can think of and some you had never seen, perfectly placed on the walls. It was like entering a ride at Disneyland,... More
