I have got to be honest, not a single time has my family and I been here for dinner did we ever leave disappointed. The service is awesome, and the food is flavorful. A good variety of entrees to choose from and the variety of oyster plates are superb. We go here for special occasions and it is worth the... More

I always drove by this place and never cared to go in. I am glad we made the decision to visit it however, their shrimp nachos and fish tacos are awesome! Their prices are decent and its a cool hangout spot to sip a few beers and watch a game.

Went for lunch, the place was empty. Tried the mussels & ceviche appetizers, great! Shrimp & grits was very tasty, shrimp dish was overcooked, had a side of fried oysters, rubbery. Place was empty, the service was great, she made several suggestions & brought a sampler of the ceviche for us to try. However, I also judge a place by... More

We enjoy coming here. We are critical of seafood but for Tyler we think it is fun and good food for your $. Our out of town guests ask to go back.

Service was good food was average to below average. Had the popcorn shrimp which were acceptable but the side of oysters were terrible. The oysters had no flavor and were dried out to the point of being rubbery. Fries were excellent

Cute place rather high for seafood when its not Fine Dining. Lobster Rolls should only be sold in seaside establishments. Needs a good cleaning from floor to including ceilings.

Stopped by Breakers Seafood in Tyler Texas with my brother for a late lunch. Restaurant was nearly empty only a few customers. Was very clean organized and fresh looking. Was seated immediately and our drinks were on our table quickly. Shrimp cocktail for appetizer which was excellent. I had the shrimp rolls with grilled brussel sprouts my brother had the... More

Our family wanted to go out for baked fish so we gave Breakers a try. We enjoyed the oyster appetizer and well drinks during happy hour. Our fish dinners were served in a timely fashion and were prepared nicely. While others order baked salmon, basa, and tuna, I had the red snapper. We liked our selections and enjoyed the dining... I ordered shrimp & grits, which was quite tasty. My mom got the butterfly shrimp, they were over cooked and severely lacking in flavor. We ordered key lime pie. I'm not convinced that's what we got. It was yellow not green, garnished with a lemon slice and almonds. There was no flavor of lime at all and the almonds just... More

Went for early dinner on a Thursday night. Small little place but it looked promising. A nice variety on the menu, with moderate prices for seafood. Asked for bread and I was brought a basket full of hot steaming rolls, which I thought was promising. I ordered grilled tilapia with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce, with a house salad... More
