There were 5 of us and we all liked our meals. Everything was warm and very good. I had the chicken fried steak which was great.

Two of us dropped in for a steak sandwich lunch. Our Server was Natalie, and she was very friendly, efficient, and helpful.... did a great job! Ordered the steak sandwich. It was okay, but average in quality and taste. Would not be inclined to order this again. Lunch for 2, including soft drinks was $19.50 God Bless
I stayed in Uvalde one night and chose this place based on TA reviews. It was a good choice. I ordered a sirloin steak with salad and grilled veggies. The steak arrived undercooked, but that was remedied correctly after a brief wait. All choices were delicious. The service was prompt and professional. Recommended.
Nice place to meet for an informal meeting at lunch The staff is courteous. It advertises as a Steak House but I found it to be more like a BBQ place. The food was Adequate and they seem to have a "Special" each day.
The place is quite dark and somber. I had a ribeye and it was perfect. Baked potato is hard to screw up. Don't like the sour cream and butter being in little plastic pan things. That is really tacky in my book. Dinner salad was pretty normal. Blue cheese out of a tube sort od ruined it
I have now eaten here twice while passing through. I like this place first because the wait staff is very accommodating and friendly. The menu doesn't have a lot of items to choose from and keeps it simple on what Jacks specializes in, steak and seafood. I've tried the ribeye and catfish. Both tasty options to choose from and recommend... More

Even though it wasn't busy, the food took a long time to come out. The sirloins were ordered medium-well and were totally overcooked and very tough. The... More
Well I must say that I visited Jack's Steakhouse on a Saturday night with my date and I have to say that that is the best brisket ever..... The place is great the atmosphere is cosy the staff is very kind and considerate and I had the brisket with the baked potato totally loaded out with a garden salad and... More
Had a very tasty chicken fried steak and okra. This is a very quiet, family-oriented restaurant. Server was very good.
