We went because it said vegetarian friendly and my niece is a vegetarian. But it was Sunday and apparently it is only vegetarian friendly all days but Sunday. We worked around the issue but that was disappointing. Service was good snd my husband said the...fish was good. The chicken tenders I had were just ok and my poor niece got a salad and mash potatoes. Site should be more clear.More

The atmosphere was great. Really cool looking place. Lots to see. It was clean and cool for our hot day. They waitress wasn’t overly friendly but service was good. The food was incredible. The onion rings were some of the best over ever had. They...were very crunchy. My friend and I could not decide so we got two things and split them. The diesel burger and a spicy chicken sandwich with lots of goodies on it. The fries were fresh cut. We really enjoyed.More

I went with my friend to have lunch, the menu is really basic but with an incredible quality. The service is also very good. For sure a place to go back and to recommend.

We walked in thinking this was a burger joint. At first, we were shocked to see no burgers. We didn’t realize it was served family style, but we were NOT disappointed! Everything was homemade, you could tell! The peas, beans, potatoes, all of it! The...cornbread was to die for!!!!! 10/10 from me!More

We stopped her for lunch and the food was delicious. There were so many options, and the staff was so kind! There were many sides to choose from, and the sandwiches hit the spot. We ordered the BLAT wrap, switch burger, and the Turkey Brie...sandwich- all SO good. The fried pickles had a nice bite to them too. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The place had cool decor and old cars to make the experience even better!More

Great garage, Americana atmosphere. Burgers were just like back yard, and fries were so fresh and hot it took several minutes before O could eat them. Fast efficient service, server was very friendly.

If you want some standard Texas fare, you can't go wrong with Jake's. Save room for dessert. Get there early for warm banana pudding.

I had heard so many good things about this restaurant so i had to try it. We got the sunday special in which you pick your meat and 5 sides come with it. We got a chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, roast, & 2 rib...plates. They came with Italian green beans, black eye peas, mashed potatoes, corn, and the best salad out of this world 🙌🏾 lol. They also gave us a whole carry out plate of rolls and cornbread. Then to top it off i got a piece of buttermilk pie which was absolutely delicious.More

A local said it was a good restaurant - but by the window display, I thought it was a toy store and would have missed it otherwise. Soooo glad we went in! I spotted the homemade pies and locked onto pecan - which the waitress...called buttermilk pecan. YUM! Best ever! Lunch was good, the wild car theme dècor was fabulous, abd the service was kind and attentive. Would go again anytime!More

Unfortunately, no we do not. We are in the old Kress location and didn't want to do anything to the original brick walls from the yester years. We only have our main dining room and there is always immediate family on site... More
