The "Gut pack" was great. The best non-chili frito pie I've ever had. BBQ brisket and pinto beans over fritos with cheese. We went back to the Silos just to eat it. Glad we did. It also had a much shorter and faster line than the grilled cheese place.

This restaurant was recommended by two different members of the hotel staff because of the "Gut Pak". What is a "Gut Pak"? A pretty good meal. They start by lining the bottom of the container with Fritos, then add in your choice of BBQ (pork, brisket, etc.) throw in your choice of sausage (4 different verities to choose from) the... More

Great Texas BBQ but my favorite was the homemade sausage. It seems like a popular local joint. Wish there was a fish or veggie option since my wife doesn't eat meat.

If you are going to Vitek's make sure you come hungry! We have heard about this place for several years and finally took our Baylor Bear for a visit. We went for lunch and what a treat! You walk in and stand in line to order, then follow the line around the corner to pay and pick up your drinks... More

We stopped here on a Tuesday late afternoon (warning, they close early...we just made it). They recommended the chopped brisket sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was quiet that afternoon and I think my sandwich was around $6. I'd eat here again.

reasonably priced and very yummy. I had the bbq chopped sandwich (make sure you ask for some bbq sauce), sister had ribs, mom had sausage and all were delish.

This is a family owned business and if famous for their Gut Pak. The Gut Pak contains: Bar-B-Q, Sausage (they make their own sausage), Fritos, beans, cheese, sour cream, onions, pickles, etc. My personal favorite is the baked potato with chopped beef, cheese, and fixings you like. When you get there, you get in line and they take your order,... More

We were guided well by the locals when they told us about this place. You have to order the local fave and of course I can't think of what it's called but it's everything on top of Fritos. Sooooo good! Very efficient and clean.

Tried the pulled pork at Magnolia Market with the coleslaw. The coleslaw was not what I expected and was not my favorite. But the pulled pork sandwich was melt in your mouth delicious! Liked it so much the next evening the family went to the restaurant and all enjoyed the BBQ. It was a Friday evening so it was busy.... More

When I'm in Texas, I expect the barbecue to be outstanding. Though this barbecue was good, it was really only average. I had the Gut Pak which is worth a try, but nothing revolutionary. Overall, this is probably the best bbq option in Waco, which isn't saying a lot. It's a cool atmosphere, but be prepared to be surrounded by... More
