So your first impression of Cortino's may tell you that this is not the place to go. It does look a little worse for wear. However, it is a sweet little family-owned business and they are very attentive once you get inside. The inside looks a little worn and dated, but the food makes up for it. We were quickly... More

this place is on why burn 83 between weslaco and mercedes, tx--i agree with a previous favorable review of the chicken marsala--the veal marsala is also very good--the salads are ok, too, but the toscano soup is my favorite followed by italian wedding soup--good helpings too--

My husband had the combination plate of lasagna and ravioli. He'I s not a huge fan of Italian food, so was pleasantly surprised. The sauce was delicious, not too sweet or acidic. I ordered the grilled salmon and angel hair pasta with garlic butter. I was very disappointed. If I'm there again, I'll order marinara sauce instead of garlic butter.... More

Everything is homemade. I had the chicken Marsala and thought it was VERY good. Prices are reasonable too. We took home desserts and they were terrific too. Service was excellent too. I would rather drive 30 minutes to Weslaco than wait 30 minutes at The Olive Garden.

We went with friends to celebrate my birthday at my favorite Italian restaurant...Cortino's. We were not disappointed. Everybody loved their food. The owner personally took care of us...everyone was impressed.

The best service ever. This is a family run business and they are extremely good at what they do. The food is wonderful, their house wine is good and they do everything they can to make your visit a good one. We will be back often.

Hard to find Italian food in the RGV. That said, this place is ok for run of the mill selections you can get in any little Italian place in any strip mall in America. Doesn't look as horrible inside as out. Service is good.

Three couples visited Cortino's for dinner. Everyone had something different. Everyone loved their food. Large portions great value. Good selection of wine. Don't forget to leave room for the terrific Tiramisu.

This place must be great ... it was super busy!! We arrived just before 5:30 pm and there was reservations for big groups and when we left there was a crowd waiting to get in. Our dinner was good and plentiful. However we had to wait for over an hour to get our main course. It was raining hard that day also. The roof was leaking beside my husband. He was able to move over closer to me so that they could put 2 large buckets on the floor. I thought we'd be offered something... More
