We visited Opa's while staying overnight in Wichita Falls. We love German food and found the restaurant to be a fun stop. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely return if we're in the area again.

True authentic German food and beer, loved it. I split the dinner for two with someone and it was so delicious and came with so much food! The service is friendly but pretty slow. It didn’t matter to me all that much though. A group of friends and I came here on a weeknight and the place was really quite.... More

Wife and I returned for a second taste. Schnitzel was very tasty and quite filling. My wife ordered the chicken cordon blue and was very satisfied. Serving size is generous. I must say the blackberry streusel and the fried ice cream were simply delightful ! With this past experience Opa's will now be one of our favorites.

Took my wife there to try a new restaurant. Staff was courteous and efficient. The German folk music made for a nice atmosphere. We had a hard time decision did no what to order, it all looked quite tasty. I can't remember my wife's dish she ordered but she was very happy with it. I ordered the onion sup in... More

My husband and I love German food, so finding a German restaurant so close to our hotel was a stroke of luck. From the moment we entered, our waiter, Riker, made sure that our experience was the best. From the frosty mugs of German beer to our salads to our entrees and desserts, we were so glad that we picked... More

Stopped by on our way to ski in Colorado. Did not expect too much but man, this German restaurant is a decent representation of German food. The setting is also German swords on the wall and sign of "Deutschland" everywhere. The waiters even spoke German! Specialize in any kind of Schnitzel and sausage. The food is delicious. Dark beer is... More

Waited an hour and 15 minutes for Schnitzel, and when it finally came out, the Rahm sauce tasted like it came straight from a McCormicks gravy packet, and it was EXTREMELY over salted. Also counted a grand total of 3 mushrooms in the sauce. Total waste of time and money.

Traveling and stayed overnight in Wichita Falls. Wanted German food even thou I wasn't very hungry. Glad we decided to go to Opa's. The food was great. Wife and I split a meal and we were full. Decided to go for deserts. We should have split one but we each ordered our own. They were big deserts and really good.... More

This is my favorite food in Wichita Falls and I lived here for several years (though I'm now in Austin). The food here was delicious. Reminded me and my husband of our trip to Bavaria and Austria. We'll visit this spot every time we come to this area. I ordered the spaëtzle and my husband got a schnitzel platter with... More
