I met a business associate at this restaurant for dinner. It was my first visit and the food was good. The service from Jef was excellent. For dinner I had the Shrimp Pelican and it was tasty. It said it was "jumbo" shrimp but the size of the shrimp were far from "jumbo". However, it was sufficient for me. Not... More

My husband and I were seated at a table in the bar area which is high traffic and a bit uncomfortable. We both ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly but lacked any flavor. Our server did not know the menu or really anything about the cuisine served.

The food is great. The service is good. This is a regulars place. People who go more often get seated more quickly.

I had a ribeye that was pretty good not a top of the line steak like the high end steak houses in country, house salad was fresh. Service was slow and not educated on their food or dinning. Had a dirty martini that was good. Was too pricey for average

My wife and I come here for our too few and far between date nights and are always full and happy when we leave. We typically go right when they open on Friday's to avoid the rush. We've always been greeted happily by hostesses and servers when we arrive and are usually seated promptly. any spot in the restaurant is... More

As seafood goes, North Texas is somewhat of a desert. One oasis, however, is Pelican's. It also has the unique distinction of having very good steaks. My only reservation is that it's a little pricey (but only a little). My favorite meal is their shrimp brochette, which is very large shrimp (6 of 'em) with a jalapeno slice and wrapped... More

The environment in Pelican's restaurant is very nice and the service by the server was superb. However, the price for the food (7.99 for 5 cheese sticks and 24.99 for Shark), does not necessarily relate to the quality of the food. The salad was great and the cheese sticks were good (could have been tasty). The bread they serve is... More

The Pelican always delivers...we went on a Fri night had reservations at 8pm got there early and we were seated by 730p. Pleasant, friendly and good quality food. Wine list a bit skinny but everything else is great.

Checked reviews for this place before going here. Was pleasantly surprised. The steak I had was very good and cooked exactly as ordered. Nice atmosphere.

This is our "go to" place for a special occasion. The food is always good and the setting is quiet. We enjoyed the Pelican Shrimp and the grilled shrimp. The grilled veggies are done just right. Service is always wonderful.
