We are still talking about our breakfasts we ate here. We stayed 2 nights at Boulder Lodge, at 2 dinners at the grill and 2 breakfast at the Grills. The dinners were good, with the sage pepper biscuits being the highlight. Good selection of chicken,...More

We stayed in the hotel next door and ate dinner and breakfast in the grill. We learned of this place from our daughter who had stayed there. She was right, it's a great place to eat with good service and very friendly people.

We were visiting Escalante/Grand Staircase Utah NM, and decided to splurge big time for the Hell's Backbone Grill super-deluxe special Thanksgiving meal. Be sure to make a reservation -- they have 2 seatings on Thursday (2pm and 5pm) and one seating on Friday after T-Giving...More

Hardly need syrup with these delicious blue corn pancakes topped with cinnamon butter, but go ahead and try at least half of your pancakes with their scrumptious hot real maple syrup. Great coffee and hot tea selection includes several Navajo teas.

We drove 45 extra miles just to have breakfast here and it was worth it! Food is exceptional. We would recommend this to anyone heading south out of Moab.

We had diner and breakfast at the grill. I loved the food at diner because every thing on the plate had its own unique taste. Each item could stand alone but also complemented everything else. Breakfast was equally fabulous; the biscuits and gravy were perfect...More

At the crossroads of UT-12 and Burr Trail there should be a little diner called Mom's. Instead there is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with an imaginative menu, excellent kitchen and amiable staff. And pumpkins and squash all over the place. (We expect they're seasonal). Welcome to...More

Just happened to see this place while driving between parks. After we got seated, we realized people drive from all over just to eat here. Very well known and numerous awards. Our breakfasts were delicious. Best French toast I have ever had, and I have...More

We had heard about this restaurant for many years and had it on our bucket list to go. Unfortunately, we are spoiled gourmands and so this wasn't quite as outstanding as we had expected. They seem to do better with veggies - many different kinds...More

Description
Opening for the season on March 17, 2017 Blake and Jen serve fresh organic food that comes directly from their own 6.5 acre Boulder farm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything we offer is handmade, even our hot sauce and jam! Our beef and lamb is grass-fed and finished and comes from a local rancher. We have children's menus available for all three meals. We're deeply committed to our farm to table ethos and to serving delicious place-based cuisine in a beautiful and casual setting. We offer a curated selection of sustainably produced wines and a full bar with craft cocktails. We also are able to offer food to go, if you are just driving on through!
