This is a must experience if your in the area. The exterior is very western with great parking. Reservations are not required but advise on prime nights. I was there on a Wednesday about 5:40pm and it was not crowded. I love the Western ambiance with all the conastoga wagon looking tables you eat in. The desert looking display is... More

The decor is pretty neat here. The food was just okay. My steak wasn't good correctly and my cheese on my French onion soup was cold. Prices were okay for the portions. They also have a decent wine list. May or may not come back.

Prime Rib=Fantastic Service=Okay. Service was meh. She was friendly but kept forgetting things and you could tell her mind was somewhere other than work. Food was great!!! (Prime Rib was a tad cold but overall it was good). Very nice Christmas eve dinner! Got the Prime Rib, potatoes, salad and it was superb. We all liked what we ordered! I... More

Went to dinner there about a week ago, me and my husband ordered prime rib "medium" they came out next to raw, all but bleeding. Then when we were finally finished with the meal I gave the waitress my credit card and she lost it. Next thing I know some of the staff was walking around with their phone lights... More

We celebrated my birthday with dinner at the Prairie Schooner. Hadn't been there for a couple of years and was happy that they have kept the Old West atmosphere. We sat in a little covered wagon in a dimly lit dinning area around the campfire and sagebrush. This is a place where people snap lots of photos...I'm not one of... More

This restaurant is actually better than you might think it is, in spite of the themed decor. When my husband is in the mood for a steak, he is happy to come to Prairie Schooner. It's got a campy, Chuck wagon theme going. It's dark inside and old-timey. The bread/butter they serve when you sit down are good. We have... More

My husband and I had a date night and a gift card from a friend. I'm not a fan of mushrooms but the fried mushroom appetizer was pretty good. We ordered filet mignon medium rare and it melted like butter in our mouths. It was tender and flavorful. Price wise we thought it was a little high priced but so... More

The atmosphere is supposed to enhance the dining but the food is not that good and more expensive than worth it.

The is a great place for dinner if you're passing through and want a take of the real west. The food is good but a little overpriced.

The conestoga wagon booths and campfire setting are amusing, but the food was great. The filet was excellent. They also had some great local craft beers and a modest wine list. I plan to stop in whenever we come to Ogden.

Thank Eric H
