The kale and wheatberry salad is really very good. Great combination. The onion soup was good as always.

Another visit to one of our favorites proved a major hit again. The three of us ordered up the filet mignon, medium rare and various sides and again were blown away by the flavor and tenderness of the meat. Absolutely delicious. I had the horseradish cream with mine, mom and the whiskey mushroom sauce and Becky and the Chimichurri sauce.... More

Well, we were greeted warmly and shown to the best table in the house, in a quiet corner near the wood stove...it doesn't get better than that...except that it did! The dinner was delicious, as always...especially the salmon cakes with slaw...the best slaw ever! Despite it being a Friday night and St. Patrick's Day to boot, our service was great,... More

From the moment we walked in the door, we were promptly greeted, our coats taken, we were seated, served cocktails, treated like old friends. The food was to die for, as were the desserts. Everyone in our group had a fabulous time, no complaints at all. A must visit anytime you can!

We visited as a family of 4 with two little kids. They have some booths inside that are good for kids. It was too cold to use the outside deck but I bet that is great in the summer. The service was okay and the food was ho-hum. We had burgers and lobster rolls and soup and salad. Nothing was... More

After a recent visit to the New England House in Brattleboro, we realized that the food is now very good, the staff more than accommodating and the music being played was superb and terrific. We had found previous meals there to be disappointing. Now we will make it one of our local favorites.

Came here for dinner on a Friday evening. We ordered the burger and fish. The fish was good but the burger was small and just OK. Prices were a bit high for what we got but not too bad. Recommend coming here early, by the time we left around 6:30pm, the place was packed and there were no parking spots... More

We are here tonight. Clean, quiet, good options on menu. Staff was pleasant, although waitress forgot my salad. We all had something different on the menu and everything was good. Would go back again.

My sweet heart and I had a light dinner last night. We have passed this restaurant a number of times, but never have gone in. With the advertisement of the ButterflySwing Band, we decided to go. I was impressed the restaurant was so busy . As did not have a reservation, but found it was OK to sit at the... More
