I would have given a 5 star review for food, service and value had we been an adult only group. However, we were 4 adults and a starving almost 3 year old with a reservation for an early (6pm) seating.Seated at a corner table with a suitable high chair, we immediately ordered a tortilla plate for the junior member of... Would you really think you'd find good Mexican food in Brattleboro? For sure, this is it, and the desserts are to die for. Make reservations!

Be sure to leave room for the boca negra -- chocolate dessert. I usually get two empanadas and take one home for lunch the next day -- but we always share a dessert!

The food here is insanely good. Huge portions of delicious authentic Mayan cuisine. The chocolate dessert is an absolute must have, it might be the best dessert I've ever had. Service is friendly and professional. It is a tiny place which makes it very cozy. There is more seating in the summer which is outdoors, so I plan to go... More

Don't let the exterior of this restaurant fool you. This is a fantastic restaurant with a homey, intimate touch, serving delicious Mayan food. Our plates were works of art with lovingly prepared stuffed burritos and a large selection of salsas and relishes. A yummy homemade Sangria added a nice touch. The staff interacted with all the patrons and made the... More

We visited Three Stones this past week for the first time. It is a quirky place, structurally wise; there are only a few tables with a small bar---the bar stools are very uncomfortable but add to the off-beat mode. Stopping by for dinner without a reservation is not recommended. I found the menu interesting and certainly not the generic Tex-Mex... More

Let's face it ethnic food is usually far from authentic even if we want to believe it. That being said this was the most unique Mexican food I've had in the USA and it's mad tasty. Having traveled recently to Oaxaca I have to say this place brought me back. If you're looking for the typical it might not work... More

Don't be put off by the drab exterior, step inside and be charmed by the atmosphere. You'll be served a tasty and plentiful meal. BUT make reservations before hand!

It's a limited menu with nightly specials and always delicious. Definitely make a reservation as it will be crowded even on more traditionally "slow" nights. This is Mayan food that you may recognize has some similarities to Mexican but it is definitely unique and well worth a visit. Even on a Wednesday, the restaurant was full and people were waiting...
