McNeills has been around since the '90's and the atmosphere is English pub with a funky twist. The beer styles are varied and excellent, worth a stop in Brattleboro.

20 years ago this was a thriving brew pub that made some of the best beers I have ever had...now, it's quiet, the beer has gone off, and besides the few regulars who seem to show up every night, it is no longer THE place to go...a shame, because it could be so much more.

Great burgers, not only beef, turkey and chicken burgers; but a delicious veggie burger that held together as I bite in

Fun little hole in the wall if you like sticky floors, sticky counters, filthy windows, the smell of yeast and hops, poor service and Mr. toad. You'll know what I mean when you meet the owner. Oh, and don't forget the filthy bathrooms. Other than that, it's like Vermont because it's very natural and unique! I hear that people love... More

Sour beer... that pretty much sums it up. However, I have been to McNeill's before and had a good experience. This is very disappointing.

This place got pretty bad reviews but we wanted to check it out anyway because I will not pass up on a beer. Let's start with saying beers are opinionated. If I don't like a beer, I understand that may be someone's favorite. The beers we tried here were terrible. I tried the Rose Pale Ale and it had a... More

I really enjoyed my time at McNeill's. Interesting group of people, very accommodating bartender. They had a wide selection of home brews. I told her what kinds of beers I liked and didn't like, and she had me try some without telling me what they were. I found some that I loved that I would have never have tried by... More

McNeill's offers a large variety of their own beer, each with a distinctive taste. It is a small, cozy pub with a few long tables that welcome groups to hang out, play board games, or watch a game on TV. Located just off the Main Street.

Visited this Brewery in the middle of a snow storm and they were still open. Although this is more of a tasting room, it has the environment of local dive bar. All of the patrons and staff were friendly and the beer was great. Many table games and other entertainment is available. I just wish they had samplers or flights... More

Small bar where you can order beers brewed on premise. We each had a taster paddle and each beer was good. We were lucky to try the Irish stout-- amazing. Friendly bartender; local vibe.
