Stopped at Union Jack’s for a fresh deli lunch with a group of 8. What a great stop!! First, we were greeted by friendly and happy employees. Second, all of the meats were fresh and sliced right behind the counter. The menu was large and everything looked delicious. I had the “Cor Blimey” (roast beef, pastrami, and corned beef with... It's a great sandwich shop, lots of variety. The staff is always friendly, and the food has been fresh and good.

These folks are fast and efficient. There is often a line, but it goes really quickly. Owned by a couple and I think their son is on staff too. You should see them move around one another as in a dance. VERY efficient. Love them. Food is good, generous. Fish and chips (I get them only once a year) greasy... More

The owners were very busy with catering. But were outstanding hosts answering questions and helping out. Tried fish n chips and fish and batter were great. Tried a rueben and steak onion. Homemade fresh battered onion rings. Everything was great. Very happy brought home some extra we ordered so much.

Very authentic, English/Scottish style fish and chips. No wimpy french fries, real chips. Could use white vinegar in addition to brown.

This a local lunchtime sandwich shop in a small mall next to the post office. It's a family run place with great service and great sandwiches, like subway but made to order by a real person who cares and does it right every time.

Found this restaurant searching the internet for fish and chips during our Vermont vacation. Received a separate, independent referral from a local who was originally from England. We were not disappointed. The fish was very fresh and the batter was perfectly crispy but not greasy. The "chips" were hand cut and the right size to accompany the fish. My husband... More

Affordable and not a hipster dive -- this perfectly suited for our requirements for sustenance. A variety of menu items if you are not in the mood for fish.

I chose this place because of the reviews on tripadvisor. My husband and I both got the fried fish and it was extremely greasy. I had to keep asking for napkins because of the grease from the fish. They were out of slaw and it was very hot inside and flies buzzing around our food. Like I said in my... More

Don't underestimate this little gem of a place! It's was our 1st visit (many more to folllow). Excellent!!! The haddock was so good, fresh hand cut fries, the bread on the sandwich was tasty, soft, fresh and lots of choices. We ate at Shanty on the Shore and we're greatly disappointed, go here for haddock you will be pleasantly surprised.... More
