A friend and I ate outside at Church ST Tavern recently; my Bflo Chicken rollup was pretty good. I got cole slaw as a side, it also was good in a middle-of-the-road way. This restaurant has resisted all the upscaling that Church St has embraced-- probably a good thing. We need general, regular spots that don't offer radicchio. Still, Church... More

I had dinner here while on a business trip in December, stopped in here as I was walking around the marketplace. Onion soup was tasty, very hot which is how I like it. Burger was on the larger side (good thing), plenty of other pub food options for you as well. Had a couple Magic Hat beers, selection was good... More

Great Tavern with incredible fries. The bartender was attentive to our needs and quick to help when needed. We ordered a burger and grilled cheese and both were cooked perfectly. Will return each time we are in the area for the fries. They are sooooo good!

The food in the tavern is basic pub food. I love pub food. Chicken fingers and French fries. Onion rings all great. The service has many times been served with an attitude. I think it's become the rude college age place to work. I have been to places in Paris were the waitresses were more friendly and attentive.

We decided to chose this restaurant because is what the least wait line. But boy it was a good decision to wait. Food was tasteful, good price and waitresse was so nice and cheerful. Even my mom that can be a quite difficult client was happy about everything.

We stopped in early on a Saturday evening for a beer and a bit of pub grub, after a bit of Christmas shopping, on our way home. We were both kind of restless...tired, but not quite ready to go home. It was crowded - loud with lots going on around us...but the servers and the kitchen managed to get things... More

What a gem! Outstanding service and delicious pub fare! A great stop when strolling the marketplace - the staff was friendly and attentive even with a full house. We shared a salad and buffalo chicken tenders along with yummy chili cheese fries! And the bar drinks were well made, quickly served and the total bill was very reasonable. Hope to... More

We had lunch there this weekend. My daughter asked the waitress what was in the veggie burger. The waitress went to ask. When she came back she told us "all we know is that it is Morningside brand and we through the box out, so we don't know what is in it". A restaurant that uses a frozen veggie burger... More

Stopped here for dinner while I was walking around downtown. I got an outside table which was great for people watching. There is a music school nearby, and there were a few students playing violin in the street. My waitress was very friendly and the burger and sweet potato fries came out perfect.

Stopped in for something to eat. The service was good but the food left something to be desired. We ordered nachos and got them at the same time as our entrees. The nachos were cold, the cheese was hard and they literally had blue chips, cheese, and jalapenos on them. Our entrees were luke warm. The only thing hot were... More
