I was in town on a business trip and was recommended this restaurant. We arrived at 5 PM on a Wednesday night and had no problem getting a table for the three of us. We order an appetizer and three dishes and ate them family style. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. My favorite was the curry soup!!... More

Even though it has been around for years, we just tried A Single Pebble for the first time and enjoyed it tremendously. Nice location in Burlington, a bit off the main drag on Bank Street and away from the Crush of the Church Street scene. The interior is nicely divided up so that you don't feel as though you are... I went with my husband and a friend, first I don't like to much that.they serve big portions to share , they have vegetarian options, but honestly, I did not like the food neither my friend and husband.and it is in the expensive side.

I will not comment on the food, service, or atmosphere. My comment relates to the management, specifically the owner. We were seated on time and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. She immediately informed us that it was "restaurant week" and, in addition to the normal menu items, we could order a special tasting menu for the whole table.... More

I live in Raleigh but I'm from New York originally. I grew up on good Chinese food but haven't been able to find anything remotely good in my new town. This restaurant doesn't just have good Chinese, they have great Chinese. The menu is extensive with lots of great options and the portions are big and meant to be shared.... More

We had a great time at A Single Pebble recently. We ordered the chef's tasting menu and had a succession of 9 or 10 delicious small plates. The seared daikon and the scallops were particularly good. The service was very pleasant and the meal was well priced at about $35 per person. It was yet another good experience at A... More

Nice place for a visit with friends. Share some of the well prepared meals. A little out of the way but well worth the visit.

Fine dining, not at fine dining prices. The tasting menu is well worth it. Reservations highly recommended, especially on Saturday night.

Be sure to call for reservations at this popular eatery in downtown Burlington. It is located in an old house with several small dining rooms. Street parking is difficult, but there is a mall parking garage right across the street. The food is excellent, served on a lazy Susan, making it easy to share. Be sure to try the "mock... More
