I've enjoyed every meal we've had at Heritage and the owner Michele is both a talented chef and one of the hardest working people I've met. There is an extensive menu to order from, pre-made and warm breakfast sandwiches if you're in a hurry, day old baked goods if you're looking for a bargain, and all of the made to... More

They have a diverse and unique menu, and just about anyone will find something they like. They use good quality ingredients and prepare them well. Ordering is awkward because you order at the counter and pay. So that means you have to get any drink or other items before actually placing your main course order.

I attended this establishment with a local Vermonter Dec. 23, 2016. The ordering area of Heritage was decorated beautifully. The menus were on chalkboards--with new, tasty specials everyday. Since all entrees and bakery items are freshly cooked from local farms every day, the day old baked goods are a true bargain. The gingerbread cookies and offerings boast actual ginger root... More

We were referred from the Vermont country store to visit for lunch. We stopped in and we were amazed at the size of the menu of sandwiches. We decided to get 1/2 sandwich and soup. My husband got a turkey type sand with stuffing and cranberry sauce and he thought it was going to be warm sandwich. But it tasted... More

This is a VT version of a deli and bakery. They have a full range of sandwiches and prepared foods and bakery items. There is an eat in area as well as a deli counter.

At least a dozen sandwiches named for a famous person, all on fresh baked bread! It was tough to choose but we all made a great choice!

We recently visited this deli for lunch and while the food was "passable" I could not recommend it. I will give credit to the person who waited on us - very nice and helpful - my wife had a blend of tuna salad and chicken salad which was alright according to her but the bread it was served on was... I mostly stop here for breakfast. Its a bakery that also prepares breakfast, sandwiches, and other food that you can take out, or eat in their small dining area. I eat in the dining area. For breakfast, you go up to the counter, order your food and pay. If you are getting coffee, you get your own, and sit down.... More

Colleagues and I were on our way to a training last week and decided to drop in for a quick lunch. It was fantastic! I had the Rueben (which is a real treat to myself) and it came out hot, with crispy grilled bread, stuffed with meat and sauerkraut (huge)....perfect. I'm spoiled, I will eat no other than at The...
