I recommend a reservation. Food was good but nothing exceptional. I hear their brunch is great. We couldn't get into their more casual venue down the road because there was a wedding there, we were dressed a bit too casual for the Dorset. They sat...More

Great service. Went alone and they made me feel completely at ease without being annoying. Food and wine delicious. Authentic Vermont setting. Gracious period surroundings.

Last minute drop in and it couldn't have been more comfortable and delicious. Cron crab fritters were delicious and the burger was truly perfect.

This was recommended to us by our local shooting instructor, who is a lifetime resident. It did not disappoint. Varied menu, nice choices and flavors, reasonable portions and attentive staff. Traditional New England fare for sure. Maybe a little pricey but worth it.

In this traditional Inn the meals, menu and service are first rate. The tavern side is cozy and active. The dining room is tasteful in looks and fare.

Brunch experience of flavors! We tried the Pea soup (delight soft flavors) and the Gazpacho with lobster (flavor heavenly distributed). The server made sure our plates were perfectly composed. Sited outside, light breeze, good wine. Great brunch!! Dinner menu looked so tempting!!!
