We only had a creamie, but checked out the menu while waiting and they have some great sounding things. Alligator, chicken , burger, fries. etc. cant wait to try this coming summer "2017"👍🏻

They serve pretty weid food at times - do not get surprised if they have alligator steaks or some other esoteric stuff on the menu. But, a fun place to visit!

We go here several times a summer, as they are pretty close to our home. Best whole belly clams in the region, really consistent and reliable. So glad this is near us, as we are far from the beach areas where these clams can normally be found.

Although it's closed now for the winter, as soon as spring rolls around again I highly recommend Cajun's Snack Bar if you're in the mood for excellent snack bar-style chow. I'm not a fan of snack bar food; I usually find it heavy and greasy, but this place is an exception. Their scallops, shrimp and lobster rolls (I've had each)... More

I will definitely be returning to this restaurant based on others good reviews. I went for lunch and ordered the alligator bites appetizer and a small poutine. I've had alligator before and liked it so was hopeful this would be a place where I could get it locally. I found the alligator to be kind of tough and chewy. Not... More

The Cajun Shack in Lowell, Vermont is MUST STOP seafood restaurant in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Don't miss this one - Cajun style seafood as fresh as any we have tasted. Lightly battered fried oysters and whole belly clams in a po-boy sandwich; a large selection of delicious meals to make anyone happy. This is not a fancy place... More

The food is great, the service is even better! The people there are just amazing! The only downfall is that SO many people agree, it can be a very long line to get your order taken. It really pays to call and order ahead.
