We've been to Kismet twice and both of us, along with the people at the next table, were thrilled by the food. I especially like the friendly wait staff and somewhat Montpelier-funky atmosphere. Relaxing place to eat.

Fun friendly atmosphere with upscale brunch selection. Had the green eggs while my wife had the Benedict burrito. Both were tasty, prepared well, though a bit overpriced. Unlimited coffee refills, though coffee was average. Advisable to get in prior to 10:00 for brunch as it...More

Nice ambience, attentive friendly staff. Food was delicious but little over priced for the amount you receive.

A warm summer evening with a friend and we sat on the deck outside as it grew dark. Tiny lights surrounded us and it was magical. The food great!

Kismet is the best brunch I have ever had. My favorites are the steak and eggs and carpaccio Benedict, but I imagine every menu item is amazing . They also have awesome Bloody Mary's. Go forth and brunch happy!

I stopped in here with a friend while on a quick stop in Montpelier. They have a Sunday brunch menu and serve many eggs benedict options. I though was not in the mood for eggs. I had the greens/grains option which was very tasty. The...More

Description
If you don't live in Montpelier, Kismet is reason enough to plan a road trip! The chic, farm-to-table, community-oriented restaurant is Montpelier's first organic restaurant and offers up an inspired menu featuring fresh, local ingredients and meals crafted with love. Chef/owner Crystal Maderia creates seasonal craft cocktail and dinner menus that are sophisticated, creative, and complimented by her natural wine and artisan beer lists. All dishes are made naturally with local meats, organic produce, and sustainably harvested regional fish and seasonings from the restaurant's very own garden. It doesn't get any fresher than this! A great atmosphere, an inspired and nourishing menu, and a friendly staff make Kismet a local favorite.
